Academy of Integrative Medicine also named American Academy
of World Traditional Medical Science. It was approved to be nonprofit
organization for science study, education, and charity purposes In 1994. It
had sponsored many academic activities, such as The 1st to 5th World
Conference of Traditional Chinese Medicine, The 1st to 5th World Conference on Oncology and
Chinese Medicine(at Stanford University in 2003), The 1st International
Conference of Integrative Medicine (at Stanford University in 2003), the
4th World Conference on Oncology and Chinese Medicine (at Hilton hotel San
Francisco in 2007), and the 1st International Conference of Integrative
Medicine (at Hilton hotel San Francisco in 2007). In addition, those
conferences will he held annually in 2008~2009.
Besides the academic communication between the U.S. and
other countries, Academy of Integrative Medicine was also devoted to higher
education and became one of the continue education providers approved by
California State government.
Also, Academy of Integrative Medicine also got great
achievment on the science study and using Integrative medicine treating
difficult diseases, especially on cancers,
Academy of Integrative Medicine has edited and published
"The Grand System of World Traditional Medicine" and
"Integrative Approaches of Chinese & Western Medicine."
Academy of Integrative Medicine is planning to combine the above two
magazines and make it a new magazine "Science of Integrative
Medicine" (in both Chinese and English) in 2008.
